Due to ongoing problems with Aetna Better Health Insurance Company , we have made the decision to stop accepting patients with this medical coverage and we are asking our current parents to change the coverage on their children. This change will become effective December 1, 2016
This means that any of our patients with this coverage will have to talk to their social worker and request that they or their child be moved to another insurance carrier. Other options to consider are Passport Health, Humana Care Source, Wellcare of Kentucky and Anthem Medicaid.
We are not asking any of our patients to leave. We are requesting that you choose another option for insurance coverage. You can call 1-800-635-2570, hit option 7, then option 1 to request a change in your or your child’s managed care carrier. You may also fill out the “Disenrollment for Cause Form “ and mail to the address at the top of the letter
Open enrollment begins October 24 and ends December 16, 2016. This is the time period you have to make your changes. Remember, we will no longer accept Aetna Better Health effective December 1, 2016.
