Your child’s physical is usually covered 100% by insurance. Unlike sports physicals done in the gym, on the field or in unfamiliar offices, we will make sure your child gets all recommended vaccines, fill out needed physical forms and take care of any problems at the time of the exam. Due to ongoing problems with Aetna Better Health Insurance Company , we have made the decision to stop accepting patients with this medical coverage and we are asking our current parents to change the coverage on their children. This change will become effective December 1, 2016
This means that any of our patients with this coverage will have to talk to their social worker and request that they or their child be moved to another insurance carrier...
Many of our patients carry insurance with high deductibles for sick visits only. Your well child exams are covered at 100% for most plans. Many of our patients have Health Savings Accounts or Health Reimbursement Accounts. You will be expected to pay at the time of service until your deductible has been met.
